Hello! I’m Danny — a Yorkshire wedding photographer based at the gateway to the stunning North York Moors, just outside the historic city of York. This beautiful part of Yorkshire is home for me, my wonderful wife Liz, and our amazing daughter, Florence, and it’s where my love for natural, storytelling wedding photography truly began.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me exploring Yorkshire on long family walks, binge-watching a new series, or discovering new places to eat around York and the surrounding countryside.

For over eight years, I’ve had the privilege of capturing candid, relaxed and heartfelt wedding photography for couples across the North — from York city centre and the heather moors to the rural Yorkshire Dales and the rugged coastline. I specialise in natural wedding photography that focuses on real moments, genuine emotion and the unique connection you share.

Out of all of the wedding photographers out there, what makes me different?

For me, it’s all about connection. One of the things I love most is getting to know you and your guests throughout the day and simply having fun — not just as a supplier, but as someone you can genuinely trust. Blending into your day like another guest is something I naturally do, and it helps everyone feel completely at ease when they spot me with the camera. It’s a core part of what makes documentary wedding photography so powerful.

Specialising in a mix of editorial and documentary photography, I create images that are true to the colours, emotions and atmosphere of your day. Nothing overly filtered, nothing staged — just honest moments captured beautifully.
